Imagine this: You’ve finally gotten your hands on a pair of Ohio State football tickets. The day of the big game has arrived. You’ve parked the car in stadium parking lot and passed by all the excited tailgaters as you walk to the entry gate to the stadium. You enter the stadium in hopes of watching your Ohio State Buckeyes march on to victory as 80,000 fans roar with every snap. You look down at your Buckeyes Football Tickets and see that your pair of seats are in section 18A. And then it hits you…“Where in the world is that?!” You, my friend, need an Ohio Stadium seating chart in order to continue your quest.

An Ohio Stadium seating chart is fairly easy to read for most people. However, being colorblind, I had to examine the chart a little more closely in order to figure out just how the seats are laid out. Here’s what I found out. First, you must understand that the stadium is shaped like a giant horseshoe. The bend of the shoe is north, and the open end of the shoe (they’ve put more stands there, too) is south. The even numbered sections are on the west side of the stadium; odd numbered sections are on the east. The smaller numbered sections are near the north end of the stadium. The sections closest to the field are the AA section, with sections A, B, C, and D gradually going higher up and farther away from the field.
